About us

Bright Smiles is a modern general dental group privately owned on the Sunshine Coast.  We currently have practices in Brightwater and  Currimundi. 

Bright Smiles offers optimal treatment and care for its patients and offers all procedures in general dentistry. 

Sunshine Coast Prosthodontics currently runs out of our Brightwater practice and offers full specialist prosthodontic services to internal and external referrers.

The 3 businesses are extremely busy and currently expanding to take on a higher capacity.  A strong team is being built to support this growth and we are now searching for our next star. 

About the role 

This position requires an extremely organised multi-tasker who thrives in a busy environment.  This position requires the successful applicant to be pro active and be comfortable with the responsibilities of ensuring the day to day running and organisation of the practices.  This role will require you to be 'on the go', forward thinking, pro active, and dedicated to achieving excellence.  You will have a dedicated staff member as your assistant to provide you with the opportunity to delegate and train, allowing you to achieve your daily goals and responsibilities.  Previous experience with dental software programs would be an advantage.  The successful applicant should have experience in a busy, multi surgery, high end or specialist practice and be willing to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.  Experience with referrals and surgery booking would be an advantage.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are required for this role.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Managing appointments
  • Managing referrals
  • Managing Front Office Trainee 
  • Front Office reporting
  • Coordinating staff
  • Pre Surgery consults with patients
  • Liaising with labs to ensure jobs are picked up and back in time for patient appointments
  • General office duties
  • Organising hospital GA sessions

Skills and experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely high organisational skills
  • Experience with dental appointment scheduling or similar
  • Experience in dental and dental software would be an advantage
  • Cert 3 in Business administration or be willing to complete
  • Experience managing and coordinating a front office/reception
