An opportunity exists to join a small, but growing, private perfusion and autotransfusion service at an exciting time and to be part of its continued success. You will work in several public and private hospitals across metropolitan Sydney and the Central Coast of NSW.
Australian Blood Management is dedicated to providing the highest quality blood management service.
Our services include
• Cardiopulmonary perfusion
• Autotransfusion
• Blood sequestration
• Autologous platelet gel preparation
Through partnerships with clinicians, blood bank and hospitals throughout Australia we aim to increase patient safety, aid in the management of patients at risk from transfusion, achieve consistency in transfusion practices and optimise the use of blood resources. Our position as independent service providers enables the use of state of the art technology to ensure optimal care.
Primarily you will be responsible for the clinical practice of perfusion and peri-operative cell salvage in public and private hospital settings in the Sydney Metro and the Central Coast of NSW. There may be opportunities to travel and work interstate.
A comprehensive induction program will be designed for the successful applicant. Applications for part time will be considered.
This position is open to suitably qualified perfusionists holding certification from training programs from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa and the UK/Ireland. Applicants from overseas are welcome however we expect compliance with all immigration requirements.
