Due to our continued growth and excellence in the mental health sector, we are currently seeking motivated and experienced applicants for the position of Casual Registered and Enrolled Mental Health Nurse’s at Abbotsford Private Hospital in West Leederville.
About the Role
This is a standout opportunity to join our professional team at Abbotsford Private Hospital, a recognised provider of treatment for mental health, alcohol and other drugs.
Working within the hospitals 30 bed dual diagnosis unit, you will enjoy flexible rostering and a supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Registration with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (Mandatory)
- Completion of or working towards tertiary qualifications specific to mental health (Desirable)
Required personal competencies:
- Three (3) years mental health experience with an understanding of alcohol and other drugs detoxification principles is preferred.
- Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care.
- Strong focus on patient centred, evidence-based nursing care.
- Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment.
- Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice.
- Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes.
- Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the work place.
