We are currently seeking an experience General Practice Nurse (Div 1) on a fixed term part time basis working out of our Brighton and Oakleigh sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Registered Nurse who will enjoy being part of our friendly and expanding private general practice division.
Essential criteria:
- Current Nurses' registration with AHPRA (Div 1)
- Previous experience in general practice nursing
- Demonstrated understanding of care plans and health assessments
- Ability to triage patients effectively
- Good understanding of chronic disease management, preventative health
- Experience monitoring Cold chain and infection control processes
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft word
- Ability to manage time well
- Work well in a team and autonomously
- Current Driver Licence
- Current Working with Children
- International Police check, if applicable
Desirable criteria:
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management Plans
- Wound Management
- Experience in Best Practice software
