About the Opportunity:
Opal Carine is now underway and we are excited to begin phase 2 of the recruitment process for the facility.

We will have a variety of casual, part-time and full-time positions available working across AM/PM/Night shifts. We will be holding an Assessment Centre at Opal Carine in August with the view to commence these positions in August/September 2018. 

Play a pivotal role in the support of new resident’s, staff and the facility and play an integral part in making new changes that benefit our Residents overall well-being and independence.

About the role:
As the Assistant in Nursing on shift, you will endeavour to provide and deliver high quality care and holistic support to meet the changing needs of our Residents. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to include the Resident and their families and consult with staff, management and other allied health professionals, to ensure we provide the very best of care.

What you can bring to Opal:

• An eagerness to grow and develop your aged care career.
• Knowledge of the aged care industry, regulations and funding would be highly regarded.
• Cert III in Aged Care.
• A minimum of 1+ years of paid experience as an AIN in Australia.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Adaptable to change and enjoys working in a team environment
• Most of all will be your passion for delivering high quality care to make a difference for our Residents.

About Opal Carine:
Located just 15 minutes from Perth CBS, Opal Carine will offer the community access to the very best specialist aged care services including permanent, respite, and dementia-specific care. Two specialist memory support wings and a memory garden will be accessible for residents to safely enjoy as they choose. All applicants must be willing to obtain a police clearance certificate via Opal's police check system and undergo pre-employment medical. You may also be required to attend a drug screen.
