About this role
The role of Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide and be responsible for delivering the multi-agency Residential Aged Care After Hours Initiative Project with expertise and leadership, providing project support and clinical expertise to ensure the deliverables of the project are met.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant role:
- has an advanced level of expertise in contemporary, autonomous clinical and professional practice in residential aged care;
- has an advanced understanding of contemporary evidence based clinical decision making within a multi-disciplinary team;
- has demonstrated ability to undertake leadership for enhanced quality and safety of care delivery to frail older adults;
- works collectively to apply the principles of effective clinical governance;
- has responsibility for enacting strategies that support a work-based culture to promote ongoing service delivery
This is a temporary full time position until 30 June 2019.
