  • Support a key Haematology product across NSW, VIC, and QLD
  • Maximize sales and achieve volume growth
  • Work closely with Marketing and Medical teams to assist with business strategy

In this Account Manager role you will manage a key Haematology product, visiting a targeted network of 25 accounts across NSW, VIC, and QLD. You will specifically visit Haematologists, maximising sales of this product through high-value customer service and tailored presentations. These accounts have all been qualified but there is an opportunity to build on these and achieve more success.

You will work closely with Marketing and Medical teams to understand the product well, and assist with business planning, product strategy, and developing market insights. You will:

  • Implement a business plan which targets your resources to the best commercial, customer and patient outcomes.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with a broad range of customers and hospitals, sharing information and networks, and providing appropriate and professional responses to enquiries
  • Maintain a high level of product, disease & competitor knowledge
  • Be aware of and work within company policies and industry guidelines and apply Novartis Values in daily activities

This role covers NSW, VIC, and QLD, and the successful candidate could be based in any of these states. We estimate you will travel 2 weeks out of every month. Majority of accounts are metro focused, but there will be some regional trips.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with senior experience in Specialty Sales within the Pharmaceutical industry, perhaps as a Hospital Specialist Rep or Key Account Manager. Experience within a niche portfolio would be advantageous, but not essential. It would also be beneficial to understand the ‘pay-share’ model and be able to communicate this to customers.

With a strategic mindset, you can find creative ways around an obstacle and are digitally savvy – you have no problems having virtual interactions with your customers and team wile you are on the road. You have excellent collaboration skills and will work with other Product Specialists to make sure you are getting in front of the right people.
