About the Role

  • Spectrum Therapy Australia is seeking an enthusiastic, optimistic and motivated Psychologist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team at Baulkham Hills.
  • Part-time or Full-time position for an experienced Psychologist, Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist to conduct assessment and deliver therapy to adults, children and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct client contact 
  • Report writing
  • Behaviour Support Plans
  • Liaising with other professional Allied Health professionals and schools to support family (including; Psychologists, Behaviour Support Specialists and Speech Therapists).

Skills and Experience

  • Passionate about working with children and their families 
  • Eligible for registration with Medicare
  • Experience working with young children with delays or disabilities, including children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder incorporating a strengths-based, family centred approach to early intervention and family services 
  • Professional registration with AHPRA or Speech Therapy Australia
  • 2 years demonstrated experience in a role that incorporates behaviour support strategies
  • Eligibility to provide services under the Mental Health Care Plan is preferable but not a requirement
  • Current Working with Childrens Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
