ABOUT THE ROLE:
Opportunity for a registered Nurse and Midwife to join the Mercy Health O’Connell Family Centre in Canterbury. We are an Early Parenting Centre offering day stay, residential and community based programs.
We are a positive, engaged team and would love you to join us!
- Full time / part time positions considered for the available hours
- Work with an experienced team of Maternal and Child Health Nurses, Registered Nurses, Early Childhood Workers, Psychologist and Psychiatrist
- Promote excellence in clinical practice and family centred care
- Provide clinical services to admitted families
- Respond to and effectively manage day to day operation of the unit in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager
- Rewarding role where you really see the difference you make
- Christmas off every year - two week closure in December /January
- No night duty or weekend work
ABOUT YOU:
- Nursing and Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
- Post graduate qualification in adult or infant mental health - desirable
- Knowledge and experience in working with complex families with young children (0-4 years) who present with a range of parenting issues

Mercy Health O’Connell Family Centre is an early parenting centre located in Canterbury that focuses on the needs of vulnerable families and young children. The residential, day and community programs provide child-focused parenting skills to promote safe child development. Services include residential, day stay, educational and group programs for families with children aged 0-4 years.
