Our client is a large Public Hospital in need of an experienced Medical Administrator to provide administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the overall department.
Your Contract role will be full time working a 38 hour week or part-time working a 20 hour week for contracted periods.
Required skills for our roles:
- High level of administration and clinical reception experience
- Transcription typing of clinical letters and documents
- Scheduling of clinical appointments
- Scheduling meetings for departments and internal stakeholders
- Filing of patient records and correspondence
- Dictation and typing of clinical letters
Previous experience required for the role:
- Demonstrated reception and administration experience in a hospital or clinic environment
- Experienced typist with audio dictation typing experience
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, Word and Excel
- Experience in Powerchart, Cerna or Trim software packages
- Medical terminology certificate or demonstrated understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
- Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
