Northern Beaches Medical Imaging (NBMI) cluster includes our brand new practice located at the new Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) in Frenchs Forest, NSW as well as our Chatswood and Brookvale practices. Healthcare Imaging Services (HIS) is seeking expressions of interest from exceptional Operations Managers to join the Northern Beaches Medical Imaging team led by Professor Alex Pitman. NBMI will be providing patient centric imaging services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  We invite you to register your interest to work in the NBMI team by emailing your latest CV with a cover letter.  An official interview and appointment process will commence shortly. Our staffing cohort will operate a comprehensive hospital imaging department including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, General X-ray, Mammography, Ultrasound, Paediatrics and Interventional, and support our Radiologists.  Northern Beaches Medical Imaging is fitted out with best-in-class equipment and will provide exciting career and training opportunities. About the role:

The Operations Manager will report to the Director of Imaging providing full Operational support for all NBMI sites and instrumental in the setup of the site located at NBH.
The incumbent will be instrumental in:

• Ensuring excellence in service to our patients and referring doctors
• Maximising referrals and revenue
• Engaging a first class team
• Managing labour costs in line with revenue
• Meeting the WHS objectives and targets

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography or other recognised post graduate diploma
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline are desirable, but not essential. An interest in undertaking future study and professional development is encouraged
• 10+ years’ experience in a commercial environment
• 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Management role preferably in healthcare services company
• A strong commercial background including a demonstrated ability to prepare business plans in accordance with set requirements
• Demonstrated experience in project planning and management, including experience with project management software
• Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen
• Ability to prepare and analyse financial data and reports
• Superior level of relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and change management
• A sound working knowledge of the industry, including relevant technology and equipment
• Ability to identify and promote opportunities for business growth and development
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including excel and outlook
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply relevant compliance and legislative requirements, including workplace health and safety
• Demonstrated human resource management skills including leadership and teamwork
• Excellent organisation skills and an ability to set and action priorities
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Working with children check
• National Criminal Check
