Multiple Aged Care Physiotherapist Opportunities: Melbourne Metro & Surrounds

We are seeking experienced Aged Care Physiotherapists to work with a range of not-for-profit & private aged care organisations within a range of aged care residences in the Melbourne metro area & surrounds. These opportunities can be offered on a full-time or part-time (3-5 days p/week) basis and may involve travel to multiple sites (no more than one site p/day) across a designated region. These opportunities will pay a rewarding salary package dependant on qualifications & experience. You will be required to work directly with senior management to ensure optimal care is provided to their residents & clients. This is a real opportunity for you to build relationships and enjoy flexibility in your working week. These autonomous & rewarding appointments are supported by a well-staffed on-site allied healthcare team. Locations include Melbourne's Western & South-Eastern suburbs, the Bayside region and on the Mornington Peninsula.

The Role:

• Conducting functional patient assessments
• Developing innovative treatment plans
• Providing individual one-on-one treatments & rehabilitation.
• You'll be responsible for the Pain Management program at the facility.
• Electronically documenting treatments provided
• Ordering of equipment and functional aids 
• Communicate & keep staff, families & health professionals updated
• Providing rehabilitation and falls prevention initiatives to residents.
• Manual handling education to facility Staff.

To be successful in this position you will be required to have your AHPRA registration with a relevant Physiotherapy degree, a valid Australia Police Check and a can-do attitude. Experience in aged care/with the elderly would be highly desirable.
