About the facility
The Barwon Health ICU is a 24-bed ICU providing tertiary critical care services to the Barwon South Western Region, a catchment region of roughly 500,000 people. Our ICU admits around 1500 adult patients a year, a mix of medical, surgical and cardiothoracic patients. We offer collaborative programs to care for adult ECMO and around 200 paediatric patients a year.
These hours are negotiable.
About the role
The primary objective of the role as Critical Care Nurse is to provide high quality evidence based and patient centred care in a modern and well equipped Intensive Care Unit. In this role you will work as an active part of a health care team shows leadership and embraces change in the coordination and delivery of care, ensuring appropriate referral to, and in consultation with, other relevant health professionals, and service providers, as appropriate.
