FULL TIME MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN
Northern Health is one of Victoria’s busiest public health services. Our acute and sub-acute health services cover a local community of approximately 728,000 people and our emergency department treats almost 70,000 patients each year.
The northern community is located in one of Melbourne's most significant growth corridors and our local population is expected to grow by 64% or an additional 128,569 people by 2031. The Northern Health catchment encompasses the rapidly expanding local government areas of Banyule, Darebin, Hume, Nillumbik, Whittlesea and Moreland.
The Northern Health Engineering & Building Services maintains five sites across the Northern suburbs; we currently have a vacancy for a full time Maintenance Handyman.

The successful applicants must have;
- Engineering skills and experience.
- Be well organised, efficient, reliable, honest and methodical.
- Extensive experience working autonomously and in a team environment.
- A current Victorian manual driver’s licence.
- Be prepared to undergo and pass a National Police History Check
- Be prepared to work across all sites.
- Be prepared to be part of an on-call roster to cover after hours, weekend and public holidays and be able to attend the Northern Health properties during emergencies.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not essential.
