St John of God Murdoch Hospital is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Community Hospice team in delivering holistic, specialist palliative care to patients.
Contracted hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate and they must be available to work across 7 days of the week including AM, PM and night shifts.
Recent palliative care nursing experience is highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care
- Current registration with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills required to provide exceptional patient care
- Clear concise written and verbal communication
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to identify and solve problems, or seek help from appropriate resources
- Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and patient satisfaction
- Work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team
- Proven ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve desired results
