Purpose of Position
- To provide and develop GP Anaesthetic services to patients at Kempsey Hospital and provide support to other clinicians in order to ensure safe, quality care is provided to inpatients and outpatients
- To support and facilitate the development of a culture of learning and best practice consistent with the role of Kempsey Hospital
Payment will be in accordance with NSW Health Policy Directives, Awards and Determinations for Visiting Medical Officers and Staff Specialists.
Selection Criteria
Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA) accreditation as GP Anaesthestist Current employment arrangement or contract with a GP practice in the Macleay area Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team and provide leadership of a team. Current and valid NSW Drivers Licence or equivalent Knowledge and evidence of applying quality improvement in the clinical environment Ability to participate in an on call roster
