Where you'll be working Concord Repatriation General Hospital is proud of its healthcare service excellence and leadership in clinical care. Concord is part of a network of hospitals and healthcare services within Sydney Local Health District. What you'll be doing Provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff. Provide a clinical service to out-patients, their families and carers receiving treatment from the Renal Supportive Care (RSC) team at CRGH. As a 0senior clinician the social worker will lead service improvement in the Social Work Department in the area of RSC and participate in activities such as regular networking, collaboration and education with the NSW RSC Network. To be considered for this role you must be available for participation in the Social Work Department After Hours Roster and capacity to be at the Hospital within an hour of being called in. Selection Criteria Must hold a Bachelor degree in Social Work or eqivalent that provides eligibility for full membership of AASW with experience at Level 2 or higher Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Social Work Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences Demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as per of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and evaluate quality improvement initiatives and/or research focused on patient/client outcomes Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students. Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder.
