What you'll be doing The role of the Senior Research Officer will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the development, conduct, analysis and reporting on research projects. The role will also be responsible for the design and undertaking of research projects and preparation of grant applications. This position will be expected to collaboratively produce high quality research reports and articles suitable for publication in peer reviewed journals. A research degree or post graduate qualification in a medicine, nursing, allied health or other related discipline. 1.Proven extensive experience in leading research projects from study design, proposal writing, calculating sample size, literature reviews, and use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and data analysis Demonstrated experience in the preparation and submission of grant applications Demonstrated experience in conducting statistical analysis on large data sets and demonstrated competency using SPSS, SAS or similar statistical analysis packages Demonstrated experience in the publication of peer-reviewed journal articles and high quality reports Proven excellent oral and written communication, demonstrating an ability to consult, influence and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated high level computer skills including the use of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Current NSW driver’s licence and the ability to travel within metro, rural and remote NSW Need more information?
