The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen in our New Employer Vocational Assessment team for a Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist to provide vocational assessments on either a full or part time basis.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in performing Vocational Assessments
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sound reasoning and ability to review the appropriateness of vocational options
- Proactive and an ability to problem solve
- The ability to build relationships easily both within a team and with job seekers
- Self-motivated
- Quality and timely outcome focused approach
- Knowledge of worker's compensation and injury management (desirable)
- Confidence in using technology
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary Qualified Rehabilitation Counsellors or Psychologists
- Full membership with either Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australasia (RCAA) or be a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA
- Successful obtainment of a Criminal Records Check prior to commencement.
- Current open drivers licence and own vehicle
