Seeking Specialist Practitioners to Join the Orange Door Team Delivering Effective Service Responses to Victorians.
The Orange Door consists of an integrated team of specialists bringing together different work forces and practices to create a new way of support for victims, perpetrators and families in need of support.
This new access point is one of 5 sites recently opened in Victoria in response to The Royal Commission.
As a Family Violence Specialist Practitioner, you will:
- Receive and manage all Family Violence referrals
- Work Collaboratively with the Integrated Team
- Provide assistance and support to clients accessing family violence services
- Use a Trauma-informed approach to empower clients
To be considered for this position, you will have completed studies in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline as well as;
- Demonstrated experience in crisis intervention and case management
- Strong understanding of issues related to family violence
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
