We have an opportunity for an experienced manager to lead the delivery of a flexible and agile direct care workforce in community and residential aged care. You will lead the people within the service to deliver 'person — centred' care, support and services. Be guided by the organisational values which include promoting diversity, supporting the independence and capability of clients and their families, respect and decency in society, and high principles and ethical conduct.

You will lead a department to efficiently and effectively manage client and staff relationships. The position has 3 direct reports and 12 indirect reports who manage rosters and workflow of a large direct care workforce.

You will ensure departmental adherence to human resource legislation; quality guidelines and best practice principles to drive workforce management decisions and practices. In conjunction with People and Culture you will be required to forecast and plan to build capacity allowing the business to grow and thrive.

Manager Profile:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or Health Management
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery of a flexible workforce
  • A dynamic personality able to motivate staff and provide leadership
  • Be a promoter of a great customer experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a large financial budget
  • Excellent communications skills – written and verbal 
  • Work with organisational stakeholders / departments to achieve results - maximise customer and staff retention
