We are looking for a resilient, driven and positive individual to hit the ground running as an Assistant Retail Manager and drive our team to success at The Village Pharmacy!

You will be a key member of our team, driving store operations and ensuring that all of our customers are 100% satisfied. ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent Part Time Position based on 20-25 hours. You must be available to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and weekends across a 7-day roster.

 

The Retail Manager will be responsible for:

  • Working in collaboration with the Retail Manager and Pharmacist Team Leader
  • Driving store sales targets and individual KPIs
  • Supervising team of 15-20 staff and providing direction
  • Assisting with rostering and daily in-store team meetings
  • Training staff and providing regular support
  • Modelling and promoting company policies and procedures
  • Leading by example and driving customer service
  • Coordinating stock and inventory
  • Assisting with invoicing and merchandising
  • Resolving staff and customer complaints at store level 

 

ABOUT YOU!

You thrive on teamwork and lead by example! As professional you are highly resilient, organised and hands-on. You are a dedicated individual who is a strong communicator and is capable of effectively running all retail operations.

 

Key Requirements 

  • Availability to work across a 7-day working roster
  • Flexibility to work overtime and out-of-hours as required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing teams of 15 staff or more
  • Highly proficient in Minfos for POS and invoicing
  • Ability to drive team meetings, store targets and motivate staff
  • Resilient with ability to work under pressure is essential
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in stock management
  • Ability to analyse reports
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Rights to work in Australia

 

The following would be of an advantage:

  • Experience in pharmacy industry
  • Knowledge of TerryWhite Chemmart policies and procedures
  • S2 & S3 Certified
