This is an exceptional opportunity for an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker , Psychologist or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to contribute to an enhanced mental health service for children and youth with a serious mental health illness (aged 0 – 25 years) and their families. The Chandler CYMHS team in Upper Ferntree Gully is a community team for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS).
The successful applicant will join a very supportive, enthusiastic and experienced multi-disciplinary team.
We are seeking a clinician with experience of working in the area of mental health that is keen to continue to develop skills in child and youth mental health. You will need to be a suitably experienced and qualified mental health professional who can demonstrate competency in providing comprehensive mental health assessments, clinical diagnosis and diagnostic formulation, multi-modal therapeutic interventions and intensive case management for those aged 0 – 25 years.
The successful applicant will have further opportunities to develop skills in secondary consultations to agencies within the region, participate in the family therapy team, and undertake group work.
