Support Services Manager

Applications are being sought for a highly motivated person who is customer focused with the ability to manage multiple disciplines delivering high quality non-clinical services to Northern Health.
The Support Services Manager is responsible for the management of both in-house and contracted services include food, environmental, linen, car parking, communications, patient services assistants, waste management and retail services.
The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience in managing staff and dealing with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge and experience of infection control and hygiene precautions, particularly as related to the Health Industry.
- Demonstrated business acumen and financial management competence
- The ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- Be self-motivated and have a goal orientated work ethic
- Have high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of a team to deliver organisation outcomes.
