We are currently seeking applications from qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologists who are seeking to progress their career. The successful candidate will be presented with the opportunity to enhance their skills across all areas of contemporary nuclear medicine practice. They will initially be offered a 2 year contract, with further extension possible at contract expiry.

Southern Nuclear Imaging has practices located in Bankstown, Revesby, Wollongong and Nowra. The successful applicant will be presented with the opportunity to contribute to the smooth and efficient day to day running of Shoalhaven Nuclear imaging (Nowra) and perhaps Illawarra Nuclear Imaging (Wollongong Private Hospital) practices. Travel is an important component of this position where training and working opportunities may occur at other practice locations. Travel, if required can be organised at mutually agreed upon times.

You will enjoy the opportunity to expand your patient and professional knowledge and skills to grow your specialty and deliver high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations with techniques to that meet or exceed industry standard.

We currently operate GE SPECT/CT gamma cameras across our practices with all sites networked together through Xeleris 3.1. and a fully integrated RIS/PACS. All practices are equipped with full cardiac stress labs for stress testing, hot lab and DEXA/BMD capabilities. Southern Nuclear Imaging performs the highest standard of service across a comprehensive range of Nuclear Medicine studies. We have a fully equipped laboratory and our technologists acquire and develop expertise in radionuclide dose preparation and dispensing.

We offer excellent working conditions, competitive remuneration, 4 weeks annual leave, 1 RDO per month, on site free parking, and pleasant working conditions.

Successful applicants must hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine) or equivalent qualifications recognised by the accreditation board of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine. Hold an EPA license and AHPRA accreditation.

An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on their level of experience.
