Programmed Health Professionals is a leading provider of health care recruitment services to the nursing and health care industries, including acute, non-acute, community, disability and specialist care.

Now, Programmed Health Professionals have an exciting opportunity for registered nurses looking for something a little different.

Our client is on the lookout for registered nurses for a 12 month casual placement, 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, working in an accreditation/quality role. The role involves assessing and reviewing aged care services against the standards and reporting on their performance.

The role is based out of their head office in Box Hill however the position requires staff to travel across Melbourne & rural Victoria visiting clients. Travel & food allowances are provided and you will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Strong experience working in the aged care sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Ability to understand and apply knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
• A reliable car and full license
• Rights to work in Australia
• Experience in regulatory, quality, audit or compliance roles would be beneficial.
• Registration as a quality surveyor (this course will be provided to successful applicants)

Successful candidates will be given 4 weeks of training. 2 weeks of this training will be completing the quality surveyor training program that is internationally accredited, leading to registration as a Quality Assessor. This training will take place in Sydney and your travel and accommodation will be covered.
