The role will include, but not limited to: 

• Providing efficient and effective claims rehabilitation and services, supporting early return to work
• Managing claims teams external rehabilitation and treatment provider services
• Building strong and lasting business relationships with key business partners
• Working with the national Workers Compensation business unit to ensure national consistency in customer service, claims and injury management
• Ensuring Workers Compensation claims activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
• Providing internal/external stakeholder training based on identified development need and opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Allied Health Degree
• Thorough knowledge of the National Clinical Framework
• High level influencing capability
• Experience in injury management and rehabilitation in a compensable setting
• Ability to build claims strategy in a multi-disciplinary setting
• Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills
• Thorough knowledge of the Worker’ Compensation legislation preferred and ideally, across multiple jurisdictions
• Prior clinical experience highly desirable
