Facility Manager/ Director of Nursing: Aged Care: RN: Inner West

This stable aged care facility in Sydney's Inner West is looking for a new Director of Nursing. This home completed a significant redevelopment in recent years and is a stunning site. With state of the art facilities and a warm friendly care team, this represents one of the nicest management opportunities in aged care. 

There is further clinical support at this aged care facility, with a Care Manager and ACFI specialist working at the home. A very supportive environment has been forged, not something that can be said at every aged care home. 

We are looking for a candidate with a solid aged care background, strong clinical skills and the ability to oversee quality. We are looking for a manager who acts with empathy and is proactive in staff management. If you have a person centred care approach and are looking for a stable, well equipped nursing home with outstanding facilities this is the role for you. 

Key Requirements:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Div 1 Nurse.
• Minimum 5 years Nursing in Aged Care.
• Strong Change Management Skills
• Ability to build relationships with people at all levels
• The ability to co-operate with and influence site staff to adopt quality improvement culture.
• Empathetic attitude
• A strong understanding of compliance and quality improvement processes in Aged Care. 
• Understanding of the Australian Aged Care Accreditation standards (ex-Assessor or real accountability with multi accreditation experience)
• Current and clear Police check
• Right to work in Australia
