About the Opportunity:
Bupa Medical Visa Services provides health assessments in a professional, caring and respectful way. Our main service is the provision of visa and migration medical services to the Department Home Affairs (Home Affairs).
This includes the provision of on-shore immigration medical examinations through Bupa centres and a network of partner centres nationally.
The Role:
- BMVS in Adelaide has potential ongoing part-time opportunities available for Panel Physicians to assist us during our ‘peak’ period and BAU.
- We are looking for Doctors with a minimum of 2 full days of availability to work between 2-5 shifts per week (15.2 - 38hrs a week)
- We are also happy to consider taking on doctors on a casual basis (to cover sick and annual leave)
- We require a Minimum of 2 full days of availability between Mon-Fri, and also some Saturdays (we only open on some Saturdays during our peak periods Jul-Sep, Feb-Apr)
- There is always opportunities for fixed term and casual roles to extend to permanent roles as the staffing needs of the centre change throughout the year (and during peak periods)
Our Adelaide centre is conveniently located on Pirie street, in the CBD. The centre operates from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday open during peak periods (July-Sep, Feb-April). Shifts are full-day shifts working 7.6hrs between the opening hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visa medical assessments
- Provide objective assessment outcomes through an online platform
- Provide an exceptional level of people centred care
Your Background:
- General Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Overseas Trained Doctors with General registration are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in Immigration Health, Occupational Health, Public Health or International Health (not mandatory)
