The Location

Located less than two hours east of Melbourne, the area features magnificent food and wine, glorious weather and all the attractions and activities you could imagine in a regional city. The Facility
This is a 280 bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services. A high incidence of road accidents, skin cancer, farm injuries and work safety accidents occur in the region.
The Department
The Child and Adolescent Unit cares for approximately 1,500 patients per year. The unit has 20 bed spaces and four isolation rooms. Child and Adolescent services are extensive with most medical and many surgical conditions expertly managed locally. A range of community care services compliment their inpatient care on discharge. The unit is staffed 24 hours a day by a highly dedicated team of paediatric nurses, consultant paediatricians and hospital medical officers. Paediatric allied health staff including a social worker, dietician, speech pathologist, physiotherapist, play therapist and members of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health services compliment the dedicated team.
The Requirements
You must have a minimum of 6 months Paediatric experience at registrar level and hold registration with AHPRA.
