We are looking for

  • A project officer with an understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing NSW Intensive Care Services

  • Someone who has significant experience in the delivery of all aspects of project management.

  • An individual who is committed to establishing and nurturing positive stakeholder relationships both internal & external

 

What you will be doing

The Project Officer, Intensive Care NSW will lead and contribute in the development and implementation of projects that will improve the quality and safety of adult intensive services across NSW. You will lead and support priority projects of the network.

Working collaboratively with the hospital managers, clinicians, and the Intensive Care NSW staff, you will provide comprehensive services to support the work plans from the Intensive Care NSW Committees.

Selection criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Health discipline with demonstrated experience in a management or a leadership role.

  2. Strong understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing NSW Intensive Care Services.

  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement initiatives with senior clinicians and executives.

  4. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information rapidly and accurately to facilitate solution design, and to produce reports and evaluation.
