Hudson is a global talent solutions company now partnering with leading Government Departments in Brisbane! We are seeking a Clinical Incident Lead for a 12 month contract, based in Brisbane CBD, commencing ASAP.

The Clinical Incident Lead will be working within the Clinical and Consumer Engagement and Clinical Governance division, reporting to the Clinical Incident Manager.

You will manage the clinical incidents referred and apply analysis and judgement to achieve a resolution in a prompt manner.

The Clinical Incident Lead will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

  • Monitor and management of incidents referred to the clinical incident management service on a daily basis;
  • Apply analysis and judgement when managing incidents to achieve resolution or minimise impact as quickly as possible;
  • Ensure timely production of high quality executive level deliverables aligned with expectations of established governance arrangements;
  • Provision of support to the interface between clinical incidents and clinical risk management.
  • Be available for an on-call roster to support 24/7 delivery of the clinical incident management service;
  • Build and maintain relationships across the business to support incident resolution, more specifically with the System Operations Incident Management Team and the Clinical Safety Team;
  • Proactively drive the implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework across all areas of incident management;
  • Confident in escalating any incidents or issues to the Clinical Incident Manager as required;
  • Input into the development and establishment of the Clinical Incident Management service procedures, processes and policy;
  • Adhering to the Agency Values and Code of Conduct; and
  • Other duties as directed.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Baseline security clearance in which Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.

A National Criminal History check will also be required prior to commencement.
