Hepburn Health Service is seeking Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join the team at Creswick.
This role is responsible for coordinating the provision of quality and safe care in the acute settings of Hepburn Health.
The ANUM must be able to demonstrate safe clinical and time management skills, whilst working collaboratively as a team member. The ANUM is responsible for the co-ordination and organising of staff and resources to ensure the delivery of quality and safe person centred Care. The ANUM accepts the responsibility of the co-ordination of the unit in the absence of the Nurse unit Manager and may work higher duties of a RN Grade 4 or 5 from time to time.
This position is predominantly a night duty role with regular rotations through day shifts.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Registration Agency as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated sound clinical leadership, experience and knowledge related to health care.
- Knowledge of patient management and information systems.
- Self-motivated with high level of communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Computer literacy at intermediate level for Microsoft applications. Awareness of financial and budgetary processes.
