The Position
Our client is now looking for an experienced Facility Manager to replace their retiring manager for its well established aged care facility with 100+ high care & low care beds. This is a hands on position requiring a positive attitude and clinical leadership. You will have responsibility for daily operations including Finances, Human Resources and OH&S management, ensuring a commitment to quality and compliance. The role will also oversee all business directions and marketing to ensure a high rate of occupancy.
You will be supported by a dedicated second-in-command (long time employee) who will look after the care of the residents and assist you with the management and mentoring of the other staff.

Who are we looking for?
An experienced Registered Nurse with a solid track record in Aged Care management. You will be responsible for the overall management of the facility and need to have a strong clinical background. Your expertise gained over the years as a Facility Manager in creating a positive environment for all, will ensure the success of this facilities future.
As the Facility Manager you would ideally have:
- AHPRA RN Registered Div 1 with Aged Care Management Experience
- Strong understanding of ACFI along with Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Strong Business Acumen essential
- Have shown strong leadership capabilities whilst providing support to both staff and residents
- Comprehensive experience in co-ordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with sound interpersonal, communication and customer skills
