Roma is located in south west Queensland approximately 480km west of the state capital of Brisbane. Position Description
A busy general practice looking for an enthusiastic full-time doctor to join their team. They are fully accredited and computerised and have a mixture of bulk billing and private billing. Great team environment with nurse support. The practice currently has 5 doctors. Attractive package available.
Practice Details
The Medical Centre has been established since 2000. The patients are a mixture of age that requires a wide range of patient care. Our practice hours are from 8-5 Monday and Friday and you are required on average to work 1 Saturday morning a month on the week end that you are on call.

Following successful placement the eligible General Practitioner may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland’s comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives such as listed below;
- Provide grants to encourage and support medical practitioners to relocate to rural Queensland.
- Eligible rural General Practitioners may apply for a scholarship or bursary to undertake further study and up-skilling courses.
- Eligible General Practitioners will be assisted to achieve Fellowship through support packages for exams and study courses.
- Access to accredited continuing professional development workshops tailored to the needs of rural health professionals.
