St. Paul's Lutheran Homes is a not-for-profit organisation based on Christian values and ethos providing quality residential living and respite care services in historic Hahndorf approx. 30 minutes from Adelaide.
We require a qualified and experienced Registered/Enrolled Nurse to work collaboratively with our dedicated nursing and extended care team working across 7 day x 24 hour roster, encompassing a combination of day, evening and night shifts with further availability to fulfill additional shifts as needed.
You will have:
- a demonstrated knowledge and thorough understanding of nursing care
- a strong focus on delivering high quality care with empathy, commitment and varied responsibility
- sincere empathy for the needs and experiences of people with physical, mental, age related and/or emotional challenges
- a commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards
- effective organisation and team skills
- a dedicated enthusiasm to contribute in a highly supportive and dependent individual care environment, and
- experience with individual care management via an evidence based framework
You will closely assist the Nursing and Care teams with exceptional service delivery to cater to a variety of resident needs, lead by example with applied leadership, nurture team cohesion and maintain best practice, accreditation standards and continuous process improvement.
You will need a flexible approach, effective time management skills, be able to problem solve, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and computer literacy to be successful in this positively challenging workplace environment.
Previous demonstrated experience as an RN/EN is essential. Experience working in Aged Care will be highly regarded.
Applicants must have a current registration with AHPRA and a current and clear police check will be required prior to commencement.
