What you will be doing
The Project Officer, Vocational Intervention Program (VIP) works within the ACI Brain Injury Rehabilitation Directorate (BIRD). The role focuses on developing collaborative relationships and working alongside the Program Leader and other project partners in implementing the 3 year program funded by Insurance & Care NSW (icare) to establish a sustainable network of vocational service providers. This involves implementation of the program across 12 sites, expecting around 200 adults with brain injury to access the specialist program pathways, either to return to their pre-injury employment or pursue new employment and training.
The Project Officer, VIP will undertake project management activities including planning, implementing, evaluating, milestone reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Selection criteria

Qualified Allied Health Professional and registration with AHPRA (as applicable).

Clinical expertise in delivering vocational rehabilitation services to people with neurological and/or cognitive disabilities

Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management, leading implementation of projects and/or initiatives and change management.

Practical experience in undertaking research with a clinical population
