The Role
Revenue Services Manager| Bundaberg, QLD | Permanent FT 

The position includes an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing department, managing the health information, patient records, and medical records teams. It involves being a key support to the CFO in health fund and DVA contract negotiation and management in addition to working closely with the Clinical Documentation Specialists to maximise revenue generation opportunities through excellence in documentation, coding and billing practices while ensuring high level of quality care is delivered in accordance with the mission, values, and business requirements of the hospital.

Selection Criteria

1. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Economics or similar (highly desirable)
2. High level knowledge of medical terminology and health information systems
3. High level communication, both written and oral, negotiation and interpersonal skills in the management and support of a multidisciplinary environment.
4. Demonstrated experience in the analysis of medical records, health fund information and patient information systems.
5. Advanced computer literacy including knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge, of computerised rostering, patient information management systems and contemporary software packages which assist with the provision of administrative support to patient services.
6. Proven ability to effectively monitor and manage budgets, rosters and financial outcomes including the achievement of goals and KPI’s.
