We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day running of Kununurra's only private medical centre.

Wunan Foundation runs a highly successful, very busy medical centre attached to the hospital in Kununurra.  By running a primary health care service that is Aboriginal-owned, well-governed and culturally safe and appropriate, Wunan believes that Aboriginal people can look forward to building a stronger and more independent future for themselves and their community.

This role will play an important part in this mission, you will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operational requirements of running a busy and professional Medical Centre, as well as all aspects of employee management including, recruitment , induction, training mentoring and performance management.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:

• 5 years’ experience in practice management
• A positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A strong customer service focus
• Demonstrated staff management skills
• Demonstrated familiarity with the General Practice Accreditation process
• A professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Preferred experience in Best Practice Software
