What you'll be doing The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Cardiology Research Nurse is responsible for the initiation, collation, analysis and entry of data for clinical registries and clinical trials in collaboration with the Cardiology team at Orange Health Service. Selection Criteria Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Post graduate qualifications relevant to Cardiology and at least 3 years fulltime equivalent clinical experience in Cardiology or related field.Demonstrated effective communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and information technology skills to provide complex specialty services and influence innovative nursing practice.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively, both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary health care team, and proven ability to consult liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, patients and external stakeholders for quality improvement or research projects.Demonstrated ability to provide complex care and advanced clinical skills.Demonstrated clinical expertise and clinical leadership in the area of cardiology services, including ability to develop nursing speciality clinical practice and service delivery.Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Registered Nurse Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).Demonstrated initiative, ability to prioritise and set goals and objectives to meet deadlines.
