The primary focus of the CEC is to promote and support improved clinical care, safety and quality across the NSW public health system, and to meet functions specified by the Minister for Health. For more information: http://www.cec.health.nsw.gov.au/index What you'll be doing The position reports to the Director, Development and leads and manages the Organisational Effectiveness team. The Organisational Effectiveness team is an internal consultancy, supporting NSW Health organisations to improve the effectiveness of their local clinical governance and quality improvement infrastructure. The Senior Manager is responsible for leading, driving and managing the efforts and performance of an interdisciplinary team comprised of Organisational Psychology, Systems and Strategy and Organisational Change Specialists. Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in a Human Resources, Organisational Development or another relevant discipline or equivalent expert knowledge of organisational psychology, organisational change or organisational systems and strategy Demonstrated experience and familiarity with organisational psychology concepts, coaching in organisational change and developing organisational systems and strategy A record of achievement in leading the development, implementation, evaluation and refinement of state-wide quality and safety improvement strategies, priorities and programs. Superior conceptual and analytical skills including experience interpreting complex information from numerous sources, preparing and presenting analysis and reports rapidly and accurately to a variety of audiences, and providing innovating solutions to complex issues. Demonstrated superior stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills including extensive experience leading, persuading, motivating and negotiating at senior levels; actively developing strategic partnerships; and engaging and influencing key stakeholders to adopt and implement methodology and initiatives. Proven experience contributing to and promoting strategic initiatives including leading, developing and managing complex change at a large scale or state-wide level; provision of authoritative strategic advice; project management; and, implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Superior interpersonal and communication skills including proven ability to deal with people at all levels from a wide-range of professional backgrounds to achieve optimal business outcomes. Demonstrated leadership skills including demonstrated experience developing the capability of a team, the ability to establishing, and monitoring and ensuring achievement of clear performance objectives, coaching and advising staff, and to fostering a collegial, professional work environment Need more information?
