The Company

Northern Coalfields Community Care Association Limited ('NCCCA') provides Residential Aged and Community Care Services to our valued residents in the Cessnock local government area.  NCCCA has 139 residential aged care beds over two sites. 

The Opportunity

Casual vacancies currently exist for experienced and motivated Care Service Employees to join our team in Cessnock.  To be considered for these positions, you must demonstrate a genuine interest to work in Aged Care, have a high level of personal integrity and be committed to providing exceptional care.  It is essential that you have availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and hold a National Criminal Police Check less than 6 months old.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months experience working in a Residential Aged Care Facility  (Applicants who do not have 12 months experience may still be considered).
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualifications (Applicants who have "Assist Clients with Medication HLTHPS006" will be viewed favourably).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with an ability to show initiative and work as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling requirements.
• Basic computer literacy. Previous experience with iCare would be viewed favourably.
