About Health Information Services:

 

Health Information Services (HIS) provides a range of services to Bendigo Health including specialised management of health information and medical records; statutory data reporting and data quality responsibilities to oversee data integrity for internally and external reporting; clinical coding and expertise in clinical classification and activity based funding models along with clinical documentation education and support.

 

About the role:

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated health information data specialist to fill the role of Statutory Reporting Data Manager to join our data team responsible for the management and reporting of timely and accurate submission of statutory datasets in accordance with Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) policies and business rules. 


This role requires an individual with knowledge of data business rules and policies, who has excellent planning skills, well-developed presentation and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, has the ability to work well in a team and be able to work within deadlines to manage competing demands.
