We currently have an opportunity for experienced and reliable Personal Care Assistants to join our team at our Menarock Life Rosehill facility located in Highett.
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high quality care and assisting residents with their daily living requirements. Specific duties will include:
- Supporting the independence of residents by providing appropriate assistance with personal
- care in accordance with care plans
- Providing emotional support to residents
- Maintaining accurate documentation notes
- Observing, reporting and documenting all resident changes
- Ensuring maintenance of clean linen, making of beds, changing of linen for residents.
- Assist with the serving of meals, assisting residents as required
About you:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Previous experience working in the Aged Care sector
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people
- Ability to speak Russian would be an advantage
