The Company and the Role
Our client is a global market leader in life sciences selling instruments and consumables into universities, research institutes and laboratories. They are a privately owned company, well-respected and known for their great quality products.
As a result of restructuring they have a great opportunity for an Inhouse Service Engineer. You will be based out of Sydney and working in-house to cover the calibration lab, in addition to field based work. Your responsibilities will include instrument troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance procedures and other after sales services and support. You will be working full-time weekday hours.
Skills and Experiences
To secure this role you would ideally:
- Have experience in providing Technical Support or working as an Engineer within the life science or medical devices industry
- Tertiary Qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronics.
- Possess the ability to assimilate complex technical information.
- Have impeccable presentation and communication skills.
- Present as a polished, articulate and concise individual with excellent relationship building skills
- Be self-reliant, passionate, and driven to meet and exceed goals
