This highly-reputable not-for-profit company, provides an incredibly diverse range of services throughout the state of QLD. This vacancy is part of their on-going growth and service provision to ageing clients, who access both residential and community based care services in this beautiful location in tropical Northern QLD, an hour from Cairns.
What are the Responsibilities?
As the Service Manager, your main focus will be to manage all the functions within this small aged care facility to ensure high standards of daily living comfort and clinical care to meet the needs of residents. You will also have additional management/oversight of the local community based services. This position is responsible for building employee engagement and performance, leading learning and development planning aligned to organisational strategy, leading clinical standards and practice, ensuring compliance and accreditation, leading continuous improvement practices, and managing the financial performance of the services.

What are the Requirements to Be Successful?
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in leadership/management roles with Residential Services
- Strong understanding of HR, budgeting and operational management
- Ability to prioritise tasks and time efficiently
- Strong focus towards continuous improvement and evolving with the ever changing climate of aged care
