About the opportunity

Children and young people entering Out-of-Home Care have often lived through varying degrees of trauma, loss and separation in their short lives. At Uniting, we know that such experiences can impact greatly upon their cognitive and social development and as an organisation believes that working together with carers as a care team is the best way to provide support tailored to the needs of the child or young person in care.

  • Providing clinical supervision to PSP case workers as requested by their manager and follow up on agreements, outcomes and goals
  • Identify appropriate training for Permanency Support staff and foster carers to develop their capacity to support children and young people who have experienced trauma

About You

  • A Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Full Registration with AHPRA
  • A minimum of five years registration as a psychologist in NSW
  • Experience in conducting psychometric testing with children and young people
