DENTAL ALL ROUNDER

We require an experienced and professional dental assistant with experience in reception duties and hygiene co-ordination.

Responsibilities will include establishing rapport with patients with professionalism and ensuring the values of the organisation is upheld. It is therefore imperative to us that you possess a excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards patients, staff and the overall business philosophies.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Dental assisting as required
• Assist in treatment planning documentation 
• Booking, cancelling and rescheduling appointments with focus on hygiene
• Assisting and maintaining patient recall systems
• Assisting with patient flow and management within the practice
• Assist in maintaining and update practice education and accreditation documentation.
• Assist in ensuring  efficiency is maintained within the practice
• Participate in social and digital media maintenance

To be successful for this role you must have:

• Certification in dental assisting with solid experience in managing patients
• Professionalism at first point of contact
• Proficient computer skills – knowledge of Oasis is desired 
• Excellent communication verbal and non-verbal and telephone skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Commitment to participate in organisational change
• An ability to multi-task and work well under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly positive "can do" attitude.
• A commitment to the provision of quality patient care and strong attention to detail
• An ability to promote and facilitate the development of a strong, positive and cohesive team.
