The Company
A highly renowned and reputable Specialist Practice in the Norwest Business Park is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their growing, supportive and vibrant team.You will be working with some of New South Wales leading specialists in their field and assisting managing a large private practice with 13 specialists.
The office facility has recently been updated and offers a fresh and funky environment.
The Role
You will be reporting directly to the practice manager and working closely with a small team of medical receptionists to provide a positive experience over the phone, email and face to face to patients.
The right candidate will be pro-active, empathetic and friendly with the innate ability to work well under pressure.
The Responsibilities
- Greeting patients in a friendly and polite manner
- Managing the booking of appointments and follows ups
- Scanning and importing of paperwork to patient files
- Having patient files ready for Specialist to collect
- Calendar management (appointments)
- Patient billings and explanation of billings
- Medicare payments
- Mail, petty cash and other ad-hoc duties
YOU
- Have experience working in a private practice / specialist
- Have previous experience working in a medical receptionist position
- Are pro-active, empathetic and compassionate
- Are highly organised and able to build rapport well
- Are able to work Monday – Friday and can be flexible with work hours
