Horizon Plastic Surgery (HPS) specialises in plastic and reconstructive surgery across Melbourne. Lead by highly regarded and Australian qualified plastic surgeons Mr Mark Baldwin and Mr Damien Grinsell, and a team who make sure their patients are the number one priority.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. This role will require you to evaluate and identify business opportunities and future direction. Flexible working hours available, 3-5 days per week on an 6-12mth contract during a maternity leave period.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Identify business opportunities and efficiencies
- Evaluate the current performance of the company
- Develop a plan for business growth over a short and long term period
- To increase market share over competitors
- Develop and implement strategies in line with business opportunities and efficiencies
- Oversee the performance of the main medical rooms at Essendon Fields, and satellite sites at East Melbourne and Bundoora
- Identify employee KPI’s
- Develop an employee bonus system
- Present ideas & / or technical data to upper management in a clear and concise manner.
Other skill set:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in BDM role
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of healthcare / medical environment
- Stakeholder management
- Possess strong leadership qualities
- IT savvy
- Ability to liaise with the HPS team.
